I can't believe my eyes...or can I?

I can think of some really compelling reasons a little knowledge of mirages might be a very good thing. If you were part of a wagon train and knew how mirages work, you might be able to prevent your group from chasing off across the desert towards a lake that isn't really there.
I'll find a great image to put here.	I've also thought of a few really good reasons to believe what you see, even if it is a mirage. Reason #1: because mirages are beautiful Reason #2: because mirages can lead you to new places
